Wizards come from behind for 18-12 road win!

Trailing 7-0 after two innings at Chariho, the Wizards methodically came back and posted an 18-12 victory.  

In the top of the fourth inning, the Wizards cut the Charger lead to 7-5 with four runs on four walks (Matt Grenier, Chris Gaipo, Pacer Carpenter and Ernie Wright), a sacrifice fly by Tom Doran and a two-run single by Charlie Tashjian.

After giving a up a run in the bottom of the fourth inning, West Warwick took a 10-8 lead, scoring five urns on hits by Ernie Wright, Matt Grenier, Travis Caddick (rbi single), Tom Doran (two-run single), Matt Hopper (rbi single) and a perfectly executed suicide squeeze by Robert Bird.

While lefty reliever, Robert Bird, kept the Chariho batters in check, the Orange and Black erupted for eight runs in the top of the sixth inning to break open the game. Key hits in the inning were provided by Brogan Guilmette (double), Ernie Wright (rbi single), Matt Grenier (two singles and one rbi), Travis Caddick (two singles and three rbi's) and Tom Doran (two-run double).  

Sophomore Robert Bird picked up the victory with 3 1/3 innings of relief pitching. The lefty allowed just two earned runs on one hit, while striking out three batters and walking four.  

Offensively, the Wizards rcceived hits from Matt Grenier (3/4, two walks, three runs scored and one rbi), Travis Caddick (3/3, two runs scored and four rbi's), Andrew D'Ambrosca (1/2, two runs scored), Chris Gaipo (1/3, three walks and one rbi), Tom Doran (2/4, one double and five rbi's), Matt Hopper (1/3, one rbi), Charlie Tashjian (1/5, one run scored and two rbi's), Brogan Guilmette (1/4, two runs scored) and Ernie Wright (2/3, three runs scored and one rbi).
